Criteria
• Has developed an innovative and effective classroom program, unit, or project; within the existing curriculum or in a stand alone economic course
• Has increased student economic literacy (applicants who include student assessment results or analysis of the student understanding and improvement will be looked upon favorably)
• Has demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching economics
• Has demonstrated the use of a variety of developmentally appropriate methods and resources in teaching economics
• Has participated in HCEE professional development activities to increase his/her knowledge of economics
